I'm beginning to feel burned-out with Presidential Politics. I haven't heard anything new from the pundits for over a month and the repetition is making me crazy.

The discussion has turned from the War in Iraq to the economy. The causes for the decline in our economy are many, but the the main cause that has overwhelming influence is being quietly ignored.

I am getting the idea that the Republicans know that they have no chance to win the White House in November. The race is narrowing down to fewer candidates after Super Tuesday and the weaker candidates are falling out of the race for the White House. John McCain has emerged as the front runner with only Ron Paul and Mitch Huckabee left to challange him.

Healthcare is a major issue in this campaign in the Year of the Rat. Which way should this country go? We can give more and more money to the insurance companies or we can figure out a new direction.

Is the media controlling the direction of the current elections? As viewers and readers align themselves to their favorite pundit, is the democratic process the winner or loser?

I am stunned.

I cannot believe my emotional reaction to Mitt Romney's speech this morning about his religious beliefs and his Run For The White House.

Being a former Mormon, or Latter Day Saint as they prefer, I understand the influence the Church has on the politicians in the West, where Mormons are strong and control local politics.

I don't like the fascist and restrictive way Utah and Idaho are run and I think it would be terrible to have a Mormon as President, but I must say that I was very moved emotionally by Mitt's speech.

I can't remember when a Presidential election caused so much controversy. This country has many problems facing our uncertain future. The questions I have for the candidates are many but I have my doubts that any of them will be able to honestly answer those questions.
